Phambile Skills Training

All personnel employed or consulting for the company have either been employees or consultants for training centres of the Dept. of Forestry, HLH Mining Timber, SAFCOL, or CMO over the past 25 years. 

The company was started in 2013 and was named BVDT Consulting Services, which was a sole Proprietor type of company.  In 2018 it was decided to change the Company to a PTY (LTD) named Phambile Skills Training (PST). BVDT Consulting Services Trading as Phambile Skills Training.

PST sees its core business as capacity building. We achieve this through offering our customers training and consulting solutions.  We maintain the highest quality levels by appointing and partnering with the most competent service providers and facilitators in training in South Africa. 

We pride ourselves in following a low cost operating model, to ensure that we are competitive in the market place.  Our field office is in Knysna.

We offer both new courses as well as refresher training related to all forestry, conservation and related industries operations.  Our refresher training approach is based on the all-important “Assessment / Identification of shortfalls / Remedial training” philosophy.
