Sappi Ngodwana Mill requires suitably qualified Communications Practitioner to provide administrative and technical support.

REPORTING TO Regional Communications Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Ngodwana Mill's internal communication function.
  • Manage temporary staff as and when required including general office orientation and business etiquette.
  • Coordinate meetings through bookings and catering requirements.
  • Manage meeting room bookings, set up, housekeeping and stock.
  • Prepare communication reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate functions and events.
  • Support the updating of information on the Sappi website and intranet.
  • Maintain departmental databases: stakeholders, photography, news clips and other.
  • Compile, proof read, oversee layout and distribute weekly internal newsletter.
  • Ensure communication materials are distributed to internal and external stakeholders as per mailing lists.
  • Oversee departmental administration including financial administration.
  • Maintain corporate stock store rooms and facilitate ordering, delivery, storage, issuing and record keeping of branding, promotional and corporate stock items.
  • Ensure timeous communication regarding all CSI and donation requests and decisions.
  • Provide photographic support to all communication activities.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma / NQF Level 6 in Communications, Marketing or similar.
  • 3 Years' experience in communications, project management and administration
  • Valid drivers' licence
