Be responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated, sustainable and cost effective health and wellbeing program for Saiccor Mill.



  • Provide a professional occupational health and primary health care service in the operation, within a legal, ethical framework, to ensure a healthy, productive workforce;
  • Eliminate or control of occupational and environmental hazards by continuous identification, assessment and implementation of preventative/corrective actions;
  • Identify and manage adverse health effects arising from workplace conditions (including management of work-related injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation, reintegration and compensation where applicable)
  • Educate and train employees in accordance with the risks to which they may be exposed, and the inherent requirements of the positions to which they are assigned.

  • General Nursing Diploma / Degree
  • Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
  • Certificate in Spirometry and Audiometry
  • Certificate in Dispensing
  • Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council
  • Current Registration with the South African Society for Occupational Health Nurses
  • Code B Driver's License
  • Computer literacy (Word and Excel)
  • Certificate in Physical (Evaluation) Assessment / Primary Health Nursing
  • At least 3 years in an Occupational Health environment
  • TB Course, STI Course and HIV/Aids Counselling
