PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide the incumbent with the necessary skills and specific competencies that will benefit their career. The incumbent will also assist in executing related activities across the designated region.
REPORTING TO: PROJECT MANAGER
KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
- Undertake engineering tasks & investigatory projects of general technical nature by application of knowledge.
- Ensure compliance to Mill's change management procedures, standards, specifications, safety standards and the OHS Act.
- General understanding of process plant, utilities and auxiliaries operation, maintenance and engineering principles.
- Conduct Project Work.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Process Optimisation
- Process Control
- Pressure Vessels
- Maintenance Management
- Valve Sizing
- Pump Sizing
- Grade 12 / Matric
- S4 or completed Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- No experience required
- Proficient in MS Office
