A Blow to Forest Fires from Husqvarna

Each year, landowners brace themselves for devastating fires that claim lives, cause injuries, destroy properties and crops and kill livestock. Although up-to-date statistics aren't available, over the past 25 years, South Africa is believed to have lost an average of 14,000 hectares of forested areas to runaway fires each year. In January 2012, fires killed more than 100 people whilst in 2008 fires destroyed over 84,000 hectares of trees.
