Tut meeting to discuss the introduction of an NQF level 5 forestry qualification

The purpose of the meeting is to:

  1. Indicate the role that TUT may play in providing education and training to workers in the Forestry Industry at lower skills levels.
  2. Share with the Industry the results of the situation analysis that CMO conducted in terms of the feasibility of introducing such courses.
  3. Acquire inputs from Industry stakeholders on such a development.
  4. Invite role players to nominate representatives for an Advisory Body to take the development of a learning programme forward.

FSA is fully in support of the development of such a programme and would encourage all of our stakeholders to participate in the above meeting.

If you have not already done so, please advise Riaan Bouwer at TUT on bouwerwaj@tut.ac.za.
