8 days to go for West Africa's best infrastructure trade event

Only 8 days remain before West Africa's most prestigious infrastructure trade event opens its doors in Nigeria's capital city, Abuja. Organised by ACE Event Management of the UK, Water Africa & West Africa Building and Construction Exhibition and Seminars will run during 8-10 November at the Abuja International Conference Centre.

In a 2016 report on Nigeria, PwC consultants said that, while significant gaps remain in Nigeria's basic infrastructure like housing, water and wastewater, as cities seek to become more competitive, sustainable, liveable, smart, and resilient, "the opportunities to invest in both core and social infrastructure will continue to grow".

"There is no better time to invest in Nigeria's infrastructure and no better time to contribute to the diversification of the Nigerian economy," the report concludes.
And there's no better place to improve your foothold in this sector than at ACE's November event. It has two strands: Building and Construction (including housing, roads and other major construction) and Water (including wastewater, rural sanitation and flood protection).

On the construction side, the exhibition will showcase machinery, tools and techniques for the housing and infrastructure construction sector. It aims to help those providing civil engineering and housing projects in West Africa to see new materials and machinery for use in construction and talk to experts on how best to use them.
The water section of the show offers an opportunity for companies to put their water supply and wastewater treatment products and services before purchasers from central and local government, industry, agriculture, NGOs and other key players from the entire West Africa region.

Every year, exhibitors arrive at Water Africa & West Africa Building and Construction who are new to the West African market and will be looking for local partners to help them sell and distribute their products and services here. There is great potential for business to be done at the exhibition and exciting new products and services to be seen and discussed.
