Implementation of the National Minimum Wage - 1 January 2019

Please note that the implementation of the National Minimum Wage will become effective from 1 January 2019.In terms of forestry (and agricultural) workers, the applicable wage will be R18 per hour. This represents a 9.7% increase on the current sectoral minimum wage of R16.25 per hour. read more
