May : Release sites for biocontrol agent of Bronze Bug

Release sites for biocontrol agent of Bronze Bug


We will possibly obtain a consignment of Cleruchoides noackae (biocontrol agent for the bronze bug, Thaumastocoris peregrinus) from Australia later in May and require good release sites for these parasitic wasps. These releases sites need to have very high infestations of the bronze bug, both adults and eggs.

Please contact me (brett.hurley@fabi.up.ac.za) if you are aware of any potentially suitable sites.
