WoodEX for Africa 2013 enjoying strong exhibitor demand

WoodEX for Africa 2013 is still nearly six months away but there has been a significant rise in the demand for stand space compared to last year, with numerous exhibitors wanting to make a bigger impact at WoodEX for Africa 2013. WoodEX for Africa 2013 will be held from 21 to 23 March at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, South Africa.

This trade exhibition, which also targets the consumer and DIY markets, is receiving a lot of interest from the African and European wood industries, as well as the support of international associations like the Italian Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers' Association (ACIMALL) and the German Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers' Association (VDMA).

Stephan Jooste, Director of WoodEX for Africa, says there has been a lot of interest in exhibition space for next year's event, and suppliers, manufacturers and retailers in the timber industry are invited to book their exhibition space now to avoid disappointment and to benefit optimally from the show's marketing campaign. "Besides qualifying for our early bird discounted rates which are available until the end of November, it is important to book early as it allows enough time to effectively market the exhibitor's participation in the expo. The most successful exhibitors at this year's event booked their space early enough so that they could select a well positioned stand, and they proactively marketed their participation to existing and potential clients prior to the show."

WoodEX for Africa is Africa's leading exhibition for the timber trade. Products, technologies and equipment related to the woodworking industry are on display at this event. The exhibition brings together woodworking professionals from across Africa and serves as the perfect platform for networking and business development for the timber industry.

The exhibition is supported by The Wood Foundation, the South African Wood Preservers Association, the South African Wood and Laminate Flooring Association, the Institute for Timber Construction in South Africa, the Institute for Timber Frame Builders, the Thatchers Association of South Africa, the Furniture Bedding and Upholstery Manufacturers Association, Forestry SA, the Sawmilling Association of South Africa, the European Federation for Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers, the Italian Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers' Association and the German Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers' Association.
