Rise in the National Minimum Wage

Thulas Nxesi, the Minister of Employment and Labour, gazetted South Africa’s new minimum wage which took effect from 1 March 2020. The new minimum wage of R18.68 per hour, for each ordinary hour worked, for forestry and farm workers.
