One of the Forest Sector Charter Council, FSCC, mandates is to publicise the Amended Forest Sector Code amongst all the key stakeholders. The Forest Sector Charter Council will be hosting a forestry professionals’ webinar and wishes to extend an invitation to you.
The webinar will unpack the latest Status of Transformation under the Amended Forest Sector Code (FSC) which profiles the Sector’s performance in terms of the B-BBEE scorecard targets. Furthermore, the changes to the Amended FSC aimed at enhancing the implementation of the B-BBEE targets in the Sector will also be deliberated on. It is important that the young professionals are taken into confidence on these two reports for conceptualising purposes as they both have a direct impact on their response and understanding of the B-BBEE concept.
In addition to the above, four prominent guest speakers have been invited to share some wisdom with forestry professionals under the theme “Surviving Tough Economic Times”. This will further give an insight into how the current pandemic has influenced the perspectives in the Forest Sector.
