Pinnacle-SA (formerly known as Multisaw), is proud to offer a range of machinery that include heavy-duty and ultra-high-speed wood processing and uncomplicated affordable solutions for material handling, all geared to be flexible, and to increase efficiencies and competitiveness.
Our machines are sought-after locally and are also internationally recognised,
with machines operating as far away as Japan. We have designed, manufactured, and supplied entire sawmills focusing on material handling processes.
In a world with increasing competition, a mindset of “wait and see”, and hesitation to invest in capital equipment, particularly semi – or fully automated material handling systems, will soon make a sawmill irrelevant and cause financial loss.
In the current market the focus is on automation to counter the increasing costs of labour, raw materials, and energy. Our primary purpose is to provide our clients with the tools needed to improve efficiencies, increase recovery and reduce waste. Material handling is one of the most critical activities because it is a large portion of the total business expense of a sawmill.
We use 3D-design software with modern fabrication processes, including CNC machine tools, to produce equipment that withstands the varied and harsh operating environments in Africa. We machine our components in-house and try, as far as possible, to use ISO-standard components.
Achieving the lowest cost and maximum production should be the main objective of the material handling process. It is an investment in the entire process.
