AfrEquip remains a market leading pioneer of mechanised harvesting in Southern Africa. For over 16 years, AfrEquip has been supplying and supporting some of the biggest brands in the global forestry industry including Tigercat, Log Max and Morbark.
Established in 2005 the company has grown from strength to strength, basing operations in key forestry areas throughout South Africa.
Offices, workshops and part stores located in Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, Ugie, Piet Retief and Nelspruit allow AfrEquip to provide its customers with the necessary technical, mechanical, logistics and parts support to ensure maximum productivity and up time.
AfrEquip provides significant technical support and training through a team of qualified and experienced technicians, ensuring all equipment service and repair requirements are taken care of either in-field or in their own workshop facilities. In order to maximise machine productivity and reduce downtime AfrEquip not only invests substantial time in training its own staff but also trains Customer’s technical staff. This takes place with initial training when new equipment is handed over and through regular on the job training support.
In South Africa, within their five areas of support, AfrEquip carries a massive parts holding to ensure that customers spare parts and repair requirements are met efficiently and timeously, minimising machine downtime.
