Deere’s large-size Class H Series forest machines set a new standard for logging
John Deere is rolling out its first H Series wheeled cut-to-length forest machine models. The large-size class machine models – the 1270H and 1470H harvesters and the new 20-ton load capacity class 2010H and 25-ton load capacity 2510H series forwarders – debuted in Helsinki, Finland, in April.
John Deere is a frontrunner in setting new production system standards in forest machine operations. Our investments in product development, innovation, and technology result in solutions that improve business for our customers now and in the future.
The large-size Class H Series harvesters and forwarders have higher productivity, lower fuel consumption, better stability, and improved operator ergonomics.
NEW CABINS
John Deere cabins are designed to keep operators energised throughout the day. From intuitive interfaces to ergonomic designs and from the quiet cabin to accessible service points, every aspect is crafted to enhance the operator’s experience and ease of use. John Deere understands the value of minimising fatigue and preserving energy for what truly matters. The cabins support the well-being of harvester and forwarder operators, and ergonomics play an important role in productivity.
The new cabin design is based on operator feedback. The modernised cabin design matches the design of the H Series machines. Noise-isolating materials are used in the cabin interior. The relocated fresh air intakes and improved climate control ensure a stable temperature in changing conditions. The new H Series comes with better-quality lighting for increased visibility around the working area.
The redesigned interior gives the operator more storage space. A phone tray with a wireless charger, a place for shoes, a water bottle, a cooler, and a lunch tray table. Other new features include a secondary display for base machine functions and cameras, multiple charging outlets, a pedal for selecting drive direction, and a premium audio system with subwoofer and treble speakers. New armrests and controls and configurable key buttons.
Programmable button joysticks are now available in the H Series harvesters. New seat options include a leather fabricated seat and a heavy-duty seat. Basic and comfort seats are also available. Seat ventilation is available with all seat options.
INTELLIGENT CABIN KEY
John Deere is introducing the new Intelligent Cabin Key. This personal remote key unlocks the machine door and turns on the PC control system with operator-specific configurations. The Intelligent Cabin Key, including an immobiliser, can also be personalised for service personnel and trailer drivers.
SERVICEABILITY
John Deere is introducing the longest service intervals in the market – up to 1000 hours with John Deere Protect service agreement products.
Daily servicing is made easy. The refill points are all located in the same easily accessible place. All machines have an electric engine oil level sensor and a new central greasing system for ease of use.
John Deere is a frontrunner. Market leadership in the industry requires innovativeness. Our new machine models reflect excellent quality, operational reliability and innovative solutions that add customer value. The H Series sets a new standard.
