She Is Forestry SA is moving into the second year of their five year, Mentor Me Initiative. A project intended to bridge the accessibility gap that often prevents women accessing mentorship opportunities. To this end, we will be releasing new Mentor Me Talks by inspiring women both within our sector, as well as launching our latest offering: the Mentor Me Book Club designed to offer book recommendations for busy women who have less time to sift through the vast array of personal development offerings to find the right book for them.

While our focus is on mentorship, we do not see it stopping at the borders of our Sector. She Is Forestry SA will continue to support our five schools, where our impact our support has had over the past five years cannot be overstated. The She Is Forestry SA Awards will continue to shine a spotlight on the exceptional women we have across our Sector, the submission window for nominees is now open so please take this opportunity to showcase the wealth of talent in your organisations. The prize money associated with these awards have enabled many of our previous winners to further their education and personal development – this is especially true for those winners of the two student categories.
