Their support is instrumental in helping our Production teams align with and achieve their targets and goals. This synergy makes them an integral part of the entire manufacturing process, as each specialized field within the Maintenance team complements one another, functioning effectively and efficiently as ONE TEAM.

We view ourselves as a Leading Training Partner in collaboration with Trade Institutions, offering new and upcoming professionals hands-on experience and guidance. Our Maintenance team is composed of various trades, including artisan fitters, electricians, boilermakers, and mechanics. Each of these skilled professionals plays a critical role in the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Roles within the MTO Maintenance Team:

• Artisan Fitters align, install, and maintain the moving parts of machinery, minimizing downtime and enhancing production flow. Their expertise is key to integrating machinery and ensuring optimal performance.

• Electricians handle the electrical components within our sawmilling plants, from wiring control panels to troubleshooting faults. Their precision and technical expertise ensure a steady, uninterrupted power flow, essential for all automated processes.

• Boilermakers construct and maintain steel structures and, where applicable, boilers that provide energy for timber drying. They manage high-temperature and high-pressure systems to maintain both productivity and safety.

• Mechanics maintain and repair the engines and heavy equipment that power our forestry and sawmilling operations. Their skills in diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing parts, and tuning machinery extend the lifespan and reliability of our production assets.

These artisans are crucial to the efficiency, safety, and resilience of our MTO value chain. Their roles not only support continuous operations but also foster innovation, as they work closely with engineers and production teams to implement improvements, ultimately contributing to a more resilient and competitive manufacturing industry.
