The purpose of the meeting is to:
- Indicate the role that TUT may play in providing education and training to workers in the Forestry Industry at lower skills levels.
- Share with the Industry the results of the situation analysis that CMO conducted in terms of the feasibility of introducing such courses.
- Acquire inputs from Industry stakeholders on such a development.
- Invite role players to nominate representatives for an Advisory Body to take the development of a learning programme forward.
FSA is fully in support of the development of such a programme and would encourage all of our stakeholders to participate in the above meeting.
