UD Trucks Southern Africa announced its top dealers of 2020. Motruck Swaziland was named Emerging Markets Dealer of the Year, while UD Trucks Lichtenburg took top honours as Medium Dealer of the Year. McCarthy Commercial Alrode won the award for Large Dealer of the Year.

“The UD Trucks dealers have done a tremendous job during 2020 to continue supporting our customers, despite very challenging operating and economic conditions,” said Filip Van den Heede. “Throughout the region, we operate as one proud UD Trucks team. We are going from strength to strength while offering the best support for our customers, and ultimately creating a better life for all.”

He said the UD Trucks management team is excited about the future of the brand in the region, with the addition of more Croner models earlier this year, the company now has its most extensive range ever.

The UD Trucks Annual Dealer Awards celebrated the network’s top achievers receiving accolades for their performances during 2020. Finalists and winners were announced in 24 categories, ranging from administration to aftermarket, sales, and financial services. The most coveted awards were, of course, the Dealer of the Year accolades.
