Updated TIPWG Approved Pesticide List (APL)
As many of you know, there have been considerable changes in the last few years with regards to legislation, the FSC Pesticide Policy and IGI’s and, of course, SAFAS.
With all of this in mind, it seemed prudent to “spring clean” and update the TIPWG Approved Pesticide List (APL). A survey was sent out to FSA members for input. Once the data had been collated a proposed APL was distributed to FSA members for their input (a stakeholders consultation, if you will). The result of this process is a more stream-lined, up-to-date APL which is available on the website.
If you do have stock of products that are no longer listed, it is acceptable to keep and use these products, rather than dispose of them, but please ensure they are prioritiesed to be used and are used within a reasonable time period.
To remain complaint, DO NOT ORDER any more of the products not listed.
The next part of this process will be to update the active ingredient ESRAs to product ESRAs, where this hasn’t already been done.
