Wood-Mizer Africa Regional Director Structure Change
As part of Wood-Mizer’s continued growth into the future, Bruce Husi, Wood-Mizer Africa’s current Regional Director for Africa, has been presented with an exciting opportunity to transition internally to WM Sawmilling Solutions, which he has accepted.
This move will see Malcolm Corns, Wood-Mizer’s current General Manager, assume the role of Regional Director, formerly held by Bruce.
Malcolm brings a wealth of experience in sales and marketing and a wide footprint in the timber sector. This, and his shared commitment to delivering excellence across all fronts, opens exciting new opportunities for us to grow even further in Africa.
We are confident that Malcolm’s leadership will further enhance our capabilities and strengthen our relationships with all stakeholders as we focus on this important region as a corporation.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Bruce Husi for his leadership, dedication, and contribution to the company.
During his tenure, he set important benchmarks that will serve as steppingstones for Malcolm and the Africa Team to drive Wood-Mizer’s growth in Africa even further going forward.
Bruce will remain available for a transitional period to ensure a smooth handover. Going forward, please direct all leads, sales enquiries, and related matters to Malcolm.
If you have any questions about this transition or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Malcolm or me.
Please join me in wishing Bruce and Malcolm the best for the future at these important junctures in their careers, and specifically within Wood-Mizer.
Kind regards,
J.J.P.Oelofse
