FESA, Forestry Solutions and NMMU invite you to attend our annual FOCUS on Forest Engineering 2013 conference and field day which will be held on the 6th and 7th of November 2013 in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands area.
This year’s conference is titled “MECHANISED HARVESTING AND SILVILCULTURE” and will look at factors surrounding the mechanisation of harvesting and silviculture operations, as well as the interface between the two. The topics will look at the issue of integrating the harvesting and silvicultural operations. A session is also dedicated to Forest Engineering and FESA research and feedback on recent projects. The conference will be a single day conference on the 6th of November at the Lythwood Lodge Lidgetton in the KZN Midlands and will be followed with a field day with demonstrations and exhibits on the 7th of November at the Sappi plantation Windy Hills in Wartburg.
