Dolphin Bay started supplying CCA to new client Swazi Treated Timber this month, after providing the company with extensive free advice on a treatment plant upgrade.
Swazi Treated Timber was established in 2009, having bought out a previous company. In early 2012, they put up a large sawmill just outside Mbabane to treat timber for construction, fencing and transmission poles. This is one of the few timber treatment plants in Swaziland.
The General Manager of Swazi Treated Timber, Ryan Doyle, initially contacted Dolphin Bay in 2010, and Dolphin Bay sales representatives helped him with production research.
“Since then Mark Duckham and Louis Kleynhans have been fantastic in their advice and support and recommendations, and the overall service of Dolphin Bay is excellent,” said Ryan.
“We have just started to get our initial supplies but overall, the communication and service is great.”
Dolphin Bay staff listened carefully to what the client wanted and provided an ideal plant layout, says Bertus.
“Louis and Mark worked very closely with Swazi Treated Timbers to help turn the plant around, and the result was an amazing upgrade.
“This project is another testament to how we go out of the way to provide an excellent service.”
