AfrEquip supports the South African forestry industry

With over 18 years of experience, AfrEquip is one of the South African Forestry industry’s leading suppliers and service providers. Established in 2005, the company has grown from strength to strength, supplying and maintaining premium quality equipment in mechanised harvesting operations.

Underpinning AfrEquip’s success in the field has been the quality of the premium equipment brands that it supplies and supports. These include Tigercat, Log Max, Neuson Forest, Timbermax, Morbark and numerous supporting brands – the choice of some of the country’s largest forestry entities and contractors.

AfrEquip provides a competent and skilled support team to maintain the ranges of equipment supplied for thinnings, clearfell harvesting, mulching and grinding operations. A large fleet of mobile qualified technicians operates nationwide from AfrEquip’s five offices in Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, Ugie, Mkhondo and Mbombela.

In addition, AfrEquip stocks extensive spare parts holdings at its various offices to support its customers’ fleets and technicians, ensuring minimal downtime and maximised production.

All services and repairs on equipment supplied by AfrEquip are carried out by Tigercat, Log Max, Neuson Forest, and Morbark-accredited field service technicians. AfrEquip technical staff are trained annually by the equipment manufacturers. In addition, AfrEquip provides relevant training for contractors, operators and technical staff to ensure that the productivity of the forestry equipment they supply meets customers’ high expectations.
