Aquila Training has been in the business of forestry training or over 20 years.

This not only implies that we have earned our place in the market, but even more than that it speaks to the experience that we offer our clients; expertise and lessons learnt, our clients can benefit from.

With us, you place your training needs in hands that have written all the entry tests and have already laid our foundations many, many years ago.

We understand the forestry industry and how it works; the challenges and how to overcome them.

At present we are facing many and significant changes within the training industry of South Africa.

We will assist you in navigating the coming changes, as we enter the new chapter together.

Our trainers have been on our team for years and even though each bring their own unique style and skill to our training courses, one thing remains our collective focus; a high standard of training and evaluation.

We want to make sure that our mark of competency carries weight and can stand up under scrutiny.

We often hear that training is expensive; an “unnecessary expense” contractors are forced to make, rather than choose to make.

In our experience knowledge and understanding can not only save and change lives, but can improve productivity and speaks directly to the morale and efficacy of the workforce.

Even though we fully believe in the worth of training, we keep costs as low as possible:

• On-site Training; we come to you – saving you the time and expense out of the field
• Equipment; we use your equipment to ensure your workers are fully prepared to use the brand and model used by your company
• Daily Rate; we charge a daily rate and not per course – in many cases previous experience will shorten the time needed to achieve competency, also saving you money
• Practical, Hands-on Training in the Field; once we have completed our training, your worker(s) will be ready to work… we make sure that all aspects are addressed: understanding, skill and workplace readiness – in-field, on-site, practical.

In the past we have been involved in course development; to assist clients in addressing certain areas of competency required, where no training course yet existed.

We also work in other spheres of business, outside of Forestry, where our accreditation allows. We do life skills and supervisor development, environmental and fire protection training in the Agriculture and Environmental sectors.

And finally; where are we based and where do we provide training?

We are based in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga Province, but we have been providing training throughout South Africa; Mpumalanga, Limpopo, KZN and the Western Cape.
